During a visit to Infinite Frameworks Studio Batam, the Vice President praised Indonesia’s internationally renowned creative talent.
After having lunch with online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol), the Vice President (Wapres), accompanied by Mrs. Selvi Gibran Rakabuming, inspected Infinite Frameworks (IFW) Studio—an international-scale animation and film production center located in the Nongsa Special Economic Zone (KEK), Batam, Riau Islands—on Wednesday (September 10, 2025).
Government Support for the Creative Digital Ecosystem
This visit demonstrates the government’s concrete support for strengthening the digital ecosystem and developing human resources in the creative economy. It aligns with the Asta Cita vision and the development direction toward Golden Indonesia 2045, particularly in efforts to develop superior talent in the creative and digital sectors.
At the location, the Vice President had the opportunity to witness firsthand the creative process of animation production by young Indonesian talents. He also reviewed several prestigious projects produced by IFW Batam, such as Peter Rabbit, Cocomelon Lane, and Buffalo Boys, which have successfully penetrated the international market.
In addition to reviewing the animation facilities, the Vice President also visited the indoor and outdoor live-shoot areas that are part of IFW Studio’s production infrastructure.
Strengthening Global Competitiveness and Closing Remarks
On this occasion, the Vice President emphasized the importance of creating a conducive ecosystem so that Indonesia’s digital and creative talent can compete globally.
After the inspection, the Vice President and Mrs. Selvi Gibran Rakabuming returned to Jakarta.
Also accompanying him on this visit were the Governor of the Riau Islands Ansar Ahmad, Deputy Governor of the Riau Islands Nyanyang Haris Pratamura, Acting Secretary to the Vice President Al Muktabar, and Special Staff to the Vice President Tina Talisa.
